AMPAS ’16: Lexi Alexander

Lexi Alexander is an Academy-Award nominated film director who is well-known for her advocacy for feminist issues in Hollywood.

She directed the Oscar-nominated short film, Johnny Flynton, along with the audience and Jury award-winning 2005 film, Green Street. Alexander then directed the 2008 film Punisher: War Zone with Ray Stevenson in the leading role.

Alexander wrote and directed the 2011 spiritual film Lifted. In 2015, she directed the Arrow episode “Beyond Redemption”.In 2016 she directed the Supergirl episode “Truth, Justice and the American Way” and the Limitless episode “A Dog’s Breakfast”.
