Contributing Editor Rachel Mosely

Rachel Mosely is a writer and editor based in New York City. For publications including Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, and Town & Country, she’s covered a number of topics, with a specialty in entertainment and culture. As a magazine editor, she loved researching, analyzing, and familiarizing herself with the ins and outs of the entertainment business via interviews and profiles of celebrities and filmmakers, as well as other pop culture reporting.

Rachel is a graduate of Columbia University, where she studied English and creative writing. While a student at Columbia, she served as a contributor to The Columbia Daily Spectator and articles editor for The Proxy (a campus magazine covering issues related to the African diaspora), and spent way too many hours watching movies when she should have been studying.

As Contributing Editor for FF2 Media, Rachel edits and writes reviews and features, and aims to contribute to the visibility of underseen filmmakers. She is inspired by the position FF2 Media occupies at the crossroads of entertainment and progress, and by its core mission: getting the work of female filmmakers in front of as many eyes as possible.

Mosely’s FF2 Media posts include an in-depth interview with the filmmakers of political documentary Active Measures: Marley Clements and Laura DuBois sound political alarm in ‘Active Measures’
